Our
area offers some of the best surf on Mexico’s Pacific Coast or anywhere
else in the world with spots like Playa Linda, La Saladita, the
Ranch, Mahajua, Troncones, Playa Manzanillo, Escolleras, Juluchuca,
La Barrita and Las Gatas, all within an hours drive of Zihuatanejo
and Ixtapa.
We have daily surf trips to Playa Linda, La Saladita and El Rancho. Plan a custom surfing excursion for two or three days to Barra de Nexpa and Ticla.
The
Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo area is a year round surf destination. Our best
surf is from May to October but November through March still see
rideable surf most days. Don't bother with a wetsuit, you won't
need it.
To
get here fly Mexicana or AeroMexico from Mexico City or check out
the direct flights from Continental (Houston), Alaska (West Coast),
or America West (Phoenix). It is a good idea to reserve a rent car
in advance for the best rates
Catcha
L'Ola offers full service camping trips to La Saladita and El Rancho.
Leon will take you to the best and safest camping areas, help you
settle in and provide you with tents, sleeping bags, hammocks, stove,
mosquito netting, even surfboards if you need them. Surf to your
hearts content, Leon will stop in daily to resupply you.
With
easily accessible rivermouth, point, beach and reef breaks there
is something for every surfer, from beginner to professional.
